Abstract mixed-media work on watercolor paper. Bold black ink brushstrokes and soft gray wash form looping, sweeping marks across a vertical composition. Cut paper shapes painted in orange, yellow, pink, and olive green are collaged over the ink, curving like ribbons down the left side and across the center. We are never one thing. Raw ink meets bright cut paper in a figure still becoming. It's for anyone who has felt themselves unravel and found something beautiful in it.
